Electronic Music Production

EMP Full Course Package

EMP Students Guest speakers Yako 440, Core Rhythm and Baba Israel show the Dubspot students how to remix on the fly with Ableton Live.

DubSpot's Electronic Music Production course goes straight to the heart of what you need to know to create your own music. On the first day of class we listen to the song that has inspired you most, break it down, and help develop the skills needed to create similar tracks of your own. Here theory meets actual practice in our courses tailored for creative souls.

With a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and exposure to the latest technology, you dive into music production in an intimate 8-student creative lab.

By the end of this course, students should have a finished track. From beginner to advanced, analog to digital, hardware to software....just start making music.

This package consists of the first three modules listed below.

As an alternative to this package consider EMP Full Package A: Ableton Live. "EMP Full Package A: Ableton Live" is for those who know Ableton is the software they want to use. Or for beginners who are not necessarily too tech savvy and may benefit more by getting a broad overview of the production process from start to finish - with one piece of software.
